Model Trimmer

Wet Model Trimmer 801 – 801 DW

Silfradent water trimmers offer the following advantages:

  • Strong motors which rotate the disc at 2800 rpm and at the same time maintaining a constant high torque;
  • A curved and pleasant design which is also dust and water repellent;
  • Continuous water flow cools and washes the disc;
  • The model trimmer comes with solenoid valve and tap-flow regulator.

Speciale Silfradent
In wet trimmers, water tends to enter the zone between the disc and the motor, thus damaging motor bearings. Silfradent’s viscous oil systems lubricates and protects the motor, for reliable and long usage. An aluminium support is added to strengthen the disc against excessive pressure, thus preventing dangerous deformations during trimming.

Dry Model Trimmers 801 S – 801 SD

Dry trimming is increasingly popular as the models are more accurate, not being exposed to the changes in humidity and drying, as in the case of wet trimming. Furthermore, waste discharge can be conveniently sucked away, thus bypassing disposal environmental problems.

Silfradent dry trimmers 801 S and 801 SD also have the following features:

  • Strong motors which rotate the disc at 2800 rpm and at the same time maintaining a constant high torque;
  • A curved and pleasant design which is also dust and water repellent;
  • Powder is vacuumed up by connecting a high power (900 W) aspirator (Item N. 801 ASP) to the machine;
  • Both trimmer and aspirator are programmed to function simultaneously;
  • Easy maintenance – Periodic cleaning of the oil sump is done simply by removing the front cover, with an hexagonal screw key.

  • 801 DW: Wet Model trimmer with diamond disc, solenoid valve & regulation tap;
  • 801 S: Dry Model Trimmer with abrasive paper disc, predisposed for connection to an aspirator;
  • 801 SD: Dry Model Trimmer with diamond disc predisposed for connection to an aspirator.

Discs for wet model trimmers 801 – 801 DW

  • 801DISCRIC corundum disc: economic and usable on both sides;
  • 801DISCDI diamond disc: highly resistant with slow and uniform wear.

Discs for dry models 801 S – 801 SD

  • 801DISCART abrasive paper disc;
  • 801DISCDI diamond disc: highly resistant with slow and uniform wear.

This diamond disc wears out slowly and evenly. Carefully used, avoiding contact with sharp metal objects, it lasts an average of
5 years to 50 models a day.

Work plate

A graduated aluminum plate is supplied with all model trimmers and can be set to 90° with respect to the disc, with an inclination margin of 10° upwards and downwards.
